About the Journal
The IMS Unison University (IUU) has a proud legacy of more than two decades as a premier Institution for higher education. It started in 1996 as IMS Dehradun, a non- profit organization set by a group of visionaries dedicated to the cause of changing the face of professional education in Northern India. The University stands for promoting disciplinary and trans-disciplinary interaction and nurturing excellence. The University presently offers under- graduate,post- graduate and doctoral program in several streams of Management, Law, Mass Communication, Hospitality Management and Liberal Arts.
With a view to encourage research and disseminate the findings, IUU publishes esteemed refereed Journals in each of the three disciplines of Management, Mass Communication and Law, namely, Pragyaan: Journal of Management, Pragyaan: Journal of Mass Communication and Pragyaan: Journal of Law. Pragyaan: Journalism of Mass Communication (Pragyaan: JOMC) is a bi-annual, peer reviewed, open access Journal. The Journal was first published in 2008 and dedicated to explore all the significant changes and developments and to provide insightful research on new trends in the area of mass media and communication. The Journal welcomes high quality research papers/articles, review articles and case reports describing original research in the field of communication and mass media studies.
